Hotspot: Café Georgette in Amsterdam
Are you in for a nice and fancy lunch at the P.C. Hooftstraat in Amsterdam? Then you’d be right in place at Café Georgette. I ended up here quite unexpected, but it was a great choice. Kevin and I even run into Dave Roelvink (a dutch TV personality).
About Café Georgette
After George Bistro, San George, George W.P.A and Café George, the George family has opened Café Georgette (their little sister)! Like the other establishments, Georgette has a typical French kitchen with a lot of French classics as well. Think about oysters, steak tartare and the George tuna pizza. But also all kind of toasts with avocado, shrimps and mushrooms. Just what I like the most… Avocado yummy!
The interior has a pretty French touch, just like her older brothers. A little bit of Paris in Amsterdam, isn’t this amazing?

What did we order?
Just like always… Kevin and I chose the exact same thing again. We’re two peas in a pod, I think.
We started of with a refreshing Icetea. This one was very good, believe me (I’m the Icetea Queen)!
Later on we ordered the avocado toasted with crispy bacon and egg. It was amazing and the taste was very good. Afterwards I felled stuffed.
I think of returning here some day. When you’re in Amsterdam you should really try the more American Corner Bakery as well. I asure you, you’re going to love this place.
