April Recap: From birthday party to press day
Hi guys! Time really has flown, another month has past already. So today I want to show you my highlight of April. From birthday parties to a 25 km walk… I think this month has something for everyone. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
But first some ice cream, just because I can!
My first special moment of the month was my own 28th birthday on the 9th of April! I didn’t celebrated at the same day, but later on.
2nd anniversary Ink Hotel Amsterdam
In the second week of April Kevin and I went to the 2nd anniversary from the Ink Hotel in Amsterdam. There was this amazing artist, she made al kind of drawings at request. She made me an unicorn, so cool! You could even get a tattoo at this event, well you’ve got to win it first. Besides all of the cool, there were delicious drinks and snacks. They took very good care of us.
My birthday party
It sounds very decadent but I celebrated my birthday two times! Once for friends and the second time for family. They all spoiled me rotten! I feel very grateful for the fact that they all came to celebrate with me. Love you all!
Press day in Amsterdam
I even joined my first press day since I started my blog, so that was pretty exciting. It was quite exhausting but also very cool and interesting. We did 6 out of the 7 or 8 PR agencies on our schedule, we run out of time. Hihi, oops! Of course Kevin and I had to stop at the Dunkin’ Donuts during the day and pose a little bit in between.
During this day, I fell in love with this Valentino handbag in the showroom of Bobbery Amsterdam.
Bloesemtocht, 25 km walk
A whole other thing I did during this month was taking a 25 km/15 mile walk, called the Bloesemtocht. This was my third time and I made it to the finish again! This walk was powered by ‘Het Rode Kruis’/ the Dutch Red Cross. So we also sponsored a good cause by entering this walk.
Yes, of course we celebrated King’s Day 2017. We started off our day with a nice pasta lunch at Una Volta (there will be a hotspot review on this one very soon) a restaurant in our hometown. After that we took a stroll through the city and came across friends. Like every previous year we went to the ‘Rock garden’ to check out some bands. Even the sun came to join us that day! It was perfect.
WHAT WERE YOUR HIGHLIGHT THIS MONTH?
