It doesn’t really matter whether I’m looking for clothing, trinkets or other stuff. I love looking for beautiful vintage finds. If you’re a treasure hunter like I am, then the IJ-hallen Amsterdam is just the place for you! I visited this flea market last Saturday with Gerda (a dear friend of mine).Continue reading if you want to know all about this place.
About the IJ-hallen Amsterdam
IJ-hallen is the largest and the most atmospheric flea market of Europe, located at the densely populated area of The Netherlands. Because of the market size, the supply and demand come perfectly together. That makes that the probability of succes is very high! This market has a very cool industrial appearance and vibe, us the way I like it. In short, a must for anyone who loves shopping at flea markets.
Normally I’m not the vintage or second hand clothing type. But I found some pieces I really liked, so… I made an exception. Gerda found me a great black studded blouse. This was a nice coincidence, because I was still looking for one. My second find was a cute grey t-shirt, also with studs and fringes. The third and last piece I scored was a leopard printed sweater. Unfortunately I haven’t made photo’s of these items yet, I’m thinking about making some outfit posts for you guys later.
